Do you store my documents?

Your certificates are stored securely so we can track expiry dates and remind you before they lapse — that's the core of the service. Tenancy agreements you upload for an AST check are analysed and then deleted; we keep the compliance findings, not the file. We never store tenant personal data.

What happens when the law changes?

We monitor legislation.gov.uk and gov.uk every week. When housing law changes, we automatically update your compliance checklist and re-check your tenancy agreement. You get an email explaining what changed and what you need to do.

Is this legal advice?

No. Landlord HQ is an information tool, not a legal service. Always consult a solicitor for legal advice specific to your situation.

Does it work for Scottish properties?

Not yet. Our compliance rules cover England and Wales only. Scottish tenancy law differs significantly. We plan to add Scotland in a future update.
