The council publishes an FOI response on its own site which, answering a request for details of any selective licensing schemes implemented since 2005, states: "Public Protection Partnership do not have a selective licensing scheme in place." The same response notes the Partnership no longer holds records from before it took ownership of the area as part of a shared service, so it cannot confirm the position back to 2005 — the current position is stated plainly, the historic one is not, and only the current one is recorded here.

Licensing is delivered through the Public Protection Partnership shared with West Berkshire and Bracknell Forest, whose fee schedule lists a mandatory HMO licence and its renewal only.
